About the position
The Accounting Manager Nordics at Andreas STIHL Norden AB is part of the Finance team. As Accounting Manager Nordics you are responsible for coordinating the financial reporting of our four Nordic markets. You are responsible for our Swedish subsidiary, which includes our Danish affiliated company. The Accounting Manager reports to the Finance Manager Nordics.
The Finance team today consists of seven employees across the Accounting and Controlling functions. The majority of the team is located in Stenkullen with team members also in Finland, Norway and Denmark.
In the position as Accounting Manager, you will lead a team of three people. The team is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for Andreas STIHL Nordic’s legal entities.
As the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for supervising, tracking, and evaluating day-to-day activities within the team. You will have frequent contacts with colleagues at the Headoffice in Waiblingen, Germany, with colleagues at other departments as well as with external consultants.
The role as Accounting Manager is an important part of the Finance function with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and development of processes.
Specific responsibilities include:
Managing three direct reports
Financial Reporting and Statements
Taxes including transfer pricing
Key user SAP
Profile and Qualifications
A degree within Business Administration & Economics or similar.
Minimum 3 years’ experience from working with accounting/business process development/audit
Background from a leadership position, minimum of 2 years’ staff responsibility with proven leadership skills.
Experience of achieving results, both through your own responsibilities and by leading others.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to customize communication to different needs when training, coordinating and leading activities.
Experience in ERP system, preferably in SAP or similar
Communicative and fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and written
