About the Role
Our Nordic Regulatory Affairs department is looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic new team member to join us with the mission to support the business and upholding the product quality and regulatory compliance, which is a cornerstone of KICKS (and Matas) way of doing business.
For this role as Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and driving relevant compliance- and quality control processes and measures. You will be responsible for the In-House brands and products of KICKS, as well as supporting the business on issues regarding third party brands and on-going dialogue with relevant authorities. You will also be responsible for ensuring that KICKS – within your area – is prepared for legislative changes and new demands from public authorities.
The role is located in our KICKS HQ in Stockholm, but regular travel to Matas HQ in Copenhagen will be expected.
Areas of responsibility
As our Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager (KICKS), you'll be responsible for:
- Quality assurance of the company´s In House Brands Cosmetic Products
- Ensure that Matas Group (Kicks) requirements are followed throughout development and production
- Secure that all relevant legal documentation are submitted to Matas (Kicks) in time
- Review documents such as ingredients lists, test results ect.
- Develop processes and methods within quality and compliance
- Support with customer communication
- Conduct investigations regarding potential quality issues with suppliers
- Collaborate closely with counterparts in the related functions such as, but not limited to Swedish Medicines Agency and Kemikalieinspektionen
About you
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a strategic and proactive person who is passionate about quality and regulatory compliance. You are a person who thrives in a dynamic environment and can see the bigger picture while managing complex projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders are essential. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of the beauty industry.
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, or a similar field
- Experience working with quality and regulatory compliance at a strategic level
- Good competence within ISO 22716:2007 Good Manufacturing Practices and Cosmetic Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
- Experience working with authorities and certification processes
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward
