Deputy Managing Director
We are seeking an inspiring and results-driven Deputy Managing Director to lead our team, drive profitable growth, and foster collaboration across the organisation in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

NDI Sweden is part of NDI Group A/S, the leading supplier of tires and rims in the Nordic region. The group operates in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, with a total of 16 offices and over 1,000 employees. NDI’s proprietary products are highly regarded and exclusively marketed by retailers in many parts of the world.
NDI Sweden specializes in the sales and distribution of tires, rims, wheels, and accessories for a wide range of industries, including automotive, agriculture, transportation, and various other sectors. The company is headquartered in Lund, where its central warehouse is also located. With 62 employees, NDI Sweden reports an annual turnover of 332 MDKK (2023/2024).
About the position
In this key leadership role, you will manage NDI Sweden with full P&L responsibility and play an essential part in driving strategic initiatives that support both growth and transformation. Your role will involve leading change, improving operational performance, and fostering collaboration across departments. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all efforts align with NDI Group’s long-term goals. With a focus on people, performance, and innovation you will play a central role in strengthening NDI Sweden’s position in the market.
You will report to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) in NDI Denmark.
This position is based in Lund, with the possibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Areas of responsibility
- Lead and drive the overall performance of the business in NDI Sweden driving profitable growth
- Ensure compliance with Swedish labour laws and employment practices
- In line with the overall NDI Group strategic plan, develop and deliver on strategic initiatives for the local business
- Propose, initiate and deliver organizational changes as required to improve organizational effectiveness and performance
- Create and establish strong internal relationships and promote collaboration across departments and business areas within the local company as well as towards NDI Group functions.
- Stay up to date with market and industry trends as well as the competitor landscape
- Maintain and develop key customer relations as well as driving new business development
- Manage and follow up on annual budgets
- Overall responsibility for maintaining a good working environment
- Maintaining a good working relationship with union representatives
About you
To succeed in this position, we believe you are a seasoned leader with a strong background in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales, or Business Administration. You have experience driving profitable growth in low-margin industries and leading transformational change. You are a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire, challenge, and engage others while balancing hands-on execution with a helicopter perspective. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you excel at building relationships across all levels and navigating complex stakeholder environments. You are passionate about people and business, promoting a positive working climate and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, (relevant experience may replace formal qualifications)
- Several years of management experience
- Experience of leading leaders
- Experience of having P&L responsibility
- Experience of driving change and transformations
- Experience of working with unions
