On behalf of Manta Marine Technologies, we are now looking for a
Digital Product Manager
Since 2010, Manta Marine Technologies has been at the forefront of maritime emissions reduction, working closely with ship-owners, yards, and naval architects as partners in our effort to drive the change towards sustainable shipping. Today, Manta Marine offers a portfolio of green technologies, such as fuel optimization systems and turnkey shore power solutions. Manta Marine is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with offices in Sweden, Poland, and China.
Do you want help us to promote a healthy planet for future generations? We are currently seeking a Digital Product Manager to enhance our Vessel Optimization business line.
Main responsibilities
As part of the Business Line Management group, you will take an active role in shaping strategic direction and planning. As Digital Product Manager, you will lead, contribute to, and guide innovation projects within the Business Line, driving forward new ideas and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with teams across sales, marketing, data science, strategic innovation, and engineering to coordinate efforts around both new and existing offerings. Main responsibilities will be:
- Definition of the products
- Price and feature responsibility
- List and define innovation within software solutions
- Define innovation ideas and assist in prioritizing product improvements
- Responsibility for Product Strategy Plan
- Long term product plan - product offerings and new solutions
- Market overview, competitor analysis, market trends
- Products, offerings, pricing models
- Support in sales and marketing activities
Background and skills
- Bachelor of Science within Computer Science or other relevant technical field
- Extensive experience from lead roles within software product development
- Experience of strategic product work, creating and following development plans
- General understanding of software development processes and system architecture
- Experience from SaaS products
It is considered a merit if you bring technical knowledge in marine control systems. Additionally, familiarity with classification societies and ship rules and regulations is highly valued.
